Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports
Individual
The goal for the CTSS individual program is to provide skills to increase a child’s
ability to cope with their problems, develop daily social skills, and help them
grow through emotionally, socially, behaviorally, and academically.
Family
The CTSS family program is to provide skill building for the family of a child with
a mental health diagnosis. A CTSS practitioner will come to your home and skill
build on parenting skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills, sibling
rivalry, rules and consequences.

The Children’s Therapeutic Support Services (CTSS) Program aids in the development
of children who cope with an emotional disturbance or are at-risk for out of home
placement. The program serves Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Yellow Medicine, and Redwood
Counties.
This program focuses on the strengths of the children and families we serve, and
the overall goal is to improve social, emotional, and behavioral functioning in
children and their families.
