Outpatient
Outpatient therapy services for individuals, couples, and families are available
in all our offices. Group therapy is also available in our larger offices. Problems
such as stress, depression, anxiety, anger, abuse, post traumatic stress disorder,
behavior disorders and relationship conflicts are addressed in sessions scheduled
according to the clients' needs.
Therapy services are available for children, adolescents and adults.
Eating disorder treatment is available for adolescents and adults in both individual
and group format.
Anger Management is a 10 week skills and therapy group which teaches recognition
of anger arousal, healthy expression of anger, problem solving, conflict resolution
and effective communication. This group is available for adults.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group is available for adults who learn skills
which help to regulate emotional responses, to accept themselves and to change chaotic
interpersonal relationships to better functioning relationships.
Psychological testing is available to determine intellectual functioning, personality
traits and dynamics and memory and attention processing. Testing is available for
children, adolescents and adults.
What should you bring to your appointment?
- Your current insurance card.
- Paperwork that was sent to you by mail to fill out.
- Address and phone numbers of the organization/doctors offices which you have received services from.
- And last but not least anything else that will help the therapist better serve you, for example (list of your current medications).
All services provided by Western Mental Health Center will be delivered based on clinical need regardless of a person’s race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation or inability to pay.
