Psychiatry

Psychiatric services for adults are available with either a psychiatrist or a clinical nurse specialist in psychiatry. Children and adolescents have access to a child and adolescent psychiatrist via telehealth. Clients are evaluated for medications to help manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia and other mental health problems. Clients return for follow up appointments to help regulate any side effects or make any changes needed. Psychiatric support services are provided by a registered nurse and medical assistants.

What should you bring to your appointment?

• Your current insurance card.
• Paperwork that was sent to you by mail to fill out.
• Address and phone numbers of the organization/doctors offices which you have received services from.
• And last but not least anything else that will help the therapist better serve you, for example (list of your current medications).
